My girl is two years old and a mini rex. She has been treated for syphilis and was treated just over a year ago. I noticed her eye last night, but brushed it off as my English lop tends to show his third eye lid a lot. Today though, I really noticed how abnormal it looks and it has not went away. It protrudes from her eye when closed. I am currently quarantining but do plan to take her to the vet as soon as I can. Anyone has experience with this? Advice? This is my baby so I'm very worried.

Yes, that looks like Cherry Eye, but the protrusion of the third eyelid could have other meanings. Maybe this can help you Medirabbit

It could possibly be cherry eye(prolapsed gland) or it could be a protruding third eyelid. If it's cherry eye, because it's not severely prolapsed, there's a possibility it could correct on it's own, but if it doesn't then it may need to be surgically fixed by an experienced rabbit vet.

If it's a protruding third eyelid, stress, pain, and fear would be the most common cause, but that is usually a temporary thing which goes away when the rabbit calms down. If this isn't going away with your bun, then I would be concerned about the health issues that can cause something like this. More serious ones being a heart problem or a thymoma. In which case, you would need your bun examined by your vet, likely needing xrays done.
Medirabbit (prolapsed gland)

Medirabbit (protruding third eyelid)

Medirabbit (congestive heart failure)

Update: The vet isn't available. until the 30th. Her eye has gotten worse since that was scheduled on Friday, therefore I will be calling the emergency vet tomorrow. It's definitely bothering her now because she wouldn't eat much last night. I broke out the critical care and she's eaten a little today but not as much as her chunky self normally does.
Hopes that it isn't anything major, but my guess is that they will say surgery.
