Hello all. Betsy's mommy again. Betsy was at the vet again tonight because her eating had slowed down. Two weeks ago her vet discovered some redness on the inside of her cheek. We had her teeth filed down and thought we finally figured out why we've been having problems with her.....we were wrong.
We rescued her almost exactly one year ago. She had been spayed about two months before we got her. Tonight the vet noticed a sensative area in Betsy's belly and did an xray. She could see something at the rear of her colon. She said it could be adhesions from spaying her which could be causing her discomfort and possibly be the cause of her several bouts of stasis (along with her teeth). She will be going back in 2 weeks for a follow up to see if anything changes. Does anyone have any insight, advice or experience with this?
