Our 2nd bunny, Popper, is a dwarf Hotot who is approximately 6 months old. He’s a spayed male, fully litter trained & friendly with both other rabbits & people. Currently, he is kept in a cage only at night (when we go to bed) & roams in a 6’x6’ enclosure attached to 2 XL cages, hanging out with his pal, our Lop. They’ve only been together for ~9 weeks, as he’s a rescue. He had his full check up on October 1 w/ a veterinarian. He gets groomed nightly & his nails clipped regularly, last time on 11/11/21. His new owner would also get his XL living world cage & the accessories we use for his food, water, litter & wooden in-cage shelter. Popper comes with paperwork from the rescue center. He’s on a diet consisting of: pet select rabbit pellets, Timothy hay 2nd cut, fresh greens 2x a day (cilantro or romaine lettuce).
We have to rehome him because he’s a big time chewer & our other older rabbit is not; our Lop free roamed prior to Popper. We can’t afford to replace the bunny enclosure heavy duty indoor dog ma nor the underlying carpet, as he’s chewed thru the may in a few areas. He enjoys our Amazon box bunny home, which he shares with the Lop, but has started to chew it apart. He has access to unlimited cardboard (thanks to Amazon), hay & has a hay cube in his cage. I live in a NW suburb of Chicago.
