Just wanted to ask you guys to pray for sweet Dusty...

He was just fine earlier, and Robin noticed a bit ago that he was having trouble breathing. Right now, he's in Peg's arms, and she knows we're going to lose him.

Just pray that his passing isn't scary for him, but easy and gentle...

And pray for Peg and I...this is so immensely hard...we just lost Bun Bun barely a month ago, and Drew not even two months prior...

Pray for us.

Just to update...

Peg just called to let me know that he's trying to hang on. She thinks he may be worried about her, in seeing his two siblings pass, and how it affected her. I talked to him over the phone a bit, let him know that I love him and that I'll be okay, too.

God, this hurts so much...

He passed away at 1:25 am and will be buried near his littermates.

I will write more later when I can.

Peg

Oh no... poor Dusty, and poor Peg... (and Rosie)...

So sad. I honestly thought he'd be okay, that it would only affect a percentage... this is awful. (Not great news for my genetically-challenged fosters, either).

And as much as you knew he was in jeopardy, nothing prepares you for this.

:rip:Dusty...

So sorry, guys. :tears2:

I'm so sorry :(

What on Earth is this? It's got to be genetic. I just can't believe that it's taken one after another.

 I know this has been so hard. I'm thankful that you all decided not to make him travel.... I think it would have been bad on him.

Oh, God, I just saw this! I'm so much sorry, Rosie and Peg... I can't believe what's happening with your poor buns..such a great loss, in such a short period. I don't know what to say, I send you my love and compassion. Beautiful little Dusty is happy with her siblings now.

I just told Robin either late last week or earlier this week that I thought Dusty was beating the odds and he was going to be ok. I said I felt like he'd made it through and he was so playful and doing so well. In fact, I'd just stopped being paranoid about him breathing funny everytime I walked by.

My biggest concern right now is t. and Lily....I'm sure she must be upset.

Yeah, I told Danny last night the same thing...I had just started to not worry about his health anymore, thinking he might've beaten the odds on this one, and was going to be just fine...

I worry about Lily, too...I don't want T to lose her girl...
