Poor, sweetPipp. :( I hope that she's starting to feel better. No bunny should ever feel pain; they're just too sweet for such nonsense as that. :bunnyheart

I'm cheering forPipp's fast and full recovery! :toastingbunsMay she be eating lots of leafy greens (refusing absolutely nothing) in no time. :bunny24

Awww she is keeping you on your toes huh? I'm sorry it wasn't quite as much of a quick fix as expected. Yikes at the price hike! I am glad you refused it. Plus, if it had been me, I wouldn't have charged it in any case since you saved them from a MAJOR mistake. I hope she feels better soon. :rose:

Pipp still isn't eating her salads, at least not all that often, not that much and/or not that fast. I'm not increasing her pelletsmuch. Or her treats (which she goes absolutely bonkers for, poor starving bunny). :( But I still think she's being stubborn more so than still being in pain. There was nodifference while she was on Metacam then when I took her off.

But she may need another appointment if this keeps up much longer. :sigh:

Mom's still in the hospital, have to run out hte door to go there right now.

Thanks for asking!

Oh Sas, I'm so sorry this is all happening. I hope Pipp comes around and your mom gets better... Too many things going on that are stressful and difficult.

Geez..........I hope that Pipp's dental issues resolve soon.

Does ANYONE here have a rabbit without a health issue???????
Ditto to your statement about Pipp and your question about everyone's bunnies....:(

Thanks everyone...

My Mom is somewhat better but needs a lot of physio to get back on her feet, so I've had to spend a lot of time at the hospital, which is an hour commute.

Pipp is still 'off', but she's not in any pain and she hasn't lost a ton of weight, so we're still just continuing the battle of the wills.

She will finish her carrot (ungrated now), and she eats her kale -- just a lot slower than usual. But Metacam doesn't make a difference, so I'm pretty sure she's still just being stubborn and holding out for the oats and pellets and fruit.

Some days are better than others, some veggies better than others.

She may disagree, but I don't think I'm killing her.

And believe me, her 'health issues' are self-imposed! She won't touch hay, grass or anything good for her, and she folds at the slightest discomfort. (You can't even pluck loose hair from her without her acting like you're murdering her).

She'd be healthy as a little horse, otherwise!

Thanks again for the good wishes.

Well, if Pipp didn't act like that, then she wouldn't be the little Diva we all know and love :p;)

Sorry to hear about your mom's problems - I hope the physio works for her.

And you take care of yourself, too, 'kay!!!
