Peppermint oil was put outside under my house in a rodent hole, and I am smelling it inside. Not really strong, but I definitely can smell it in here.

I'm hoping my bunnies will be ok, because I've read it can be toxic to them and it can cause respiratory issues in rabbits.
I tried to get the 2 cotton pads out, but they're too far under the house in a tiny hole.

Please put my mind at ease, and tell me my little Luvbuns will be alright 🙏

They could be fine, I think it would depend on how strong it is. Bunnies do well with peppermint itself, so if it's a vague enough smell, and not like just coming through the vents or something, I assume it would be alright.
I tried using eucalyptus oil in a bath a few months ago. I was very worried that it would hurt my rabbits as afterwards I could smell it in other parts of the house. They were fine thankfully. I however have learned that I personally have a bad reaction to eucalyptus oil.

I would think they would be just fine. I use a combination of vinegar, water, and peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle to clean my bunnies' room and any carpet or upholstery stains around my house. They have never had any reaction to this.

Thank you .. they both seem to be fine.
I always stress with something I'm not familiar with when it comes to my buns health. Just never thought it could be an issue, so wanted to be sure and ask folks who'd know.

Thank you, they seem to not have been affected, so that's a good thing.
