pen G dose?

I was given penicillin G for another rabbit of mine that had an abscess on his jaw that went away with that treatment. However since about yesterday another bun of mine has been pretty gurgly in his nose. Even picking him up aggravates it. So I would like to give him the pen G i have,BUT i need to add a sterile dirulent to it the bottle. The directions i have are for an almost 7 pound rabbit, The rabbit who needs it is just shy of 9 pounds. Current directions are to add 1,8ml of sterile dirulent and give 0.25ml every 24 hours for 5 days. Should i just go with the initial directions?

It would be best to get this rabbit properly evaluated first if possible, and get the correct dosing from the vet. And then treatment will likely need to be much longer than 5 days. 2-3 weeks minimum, but 4-6 weeks is more likely, sometimes even longer.

Its not constant i hear the odd sneeze too. I have 3 bottles of the pen g,so 15 days. Its only good for 5 days once its made up. I will call the vet and ask for the dose for him.
