Hi everyone, so it turns out, rescue bunny was a pregnant female (the one we named Bruno). She has been an excellent mom, pulling fur, making a nest, feeding them.

But there's just one issue, out of a litter of 7, 2 seem under fed. I mean, it's quite distinct that they aren't as full as the others. They are very active, warm and noisy. All of them.

Is there anything I'm missing? Bruno trusts us to the limit that she feeds them in front of us. She feeds them all, so what could be the issue?

Remove the well-fed ones for one feeding, and make sure the little ones are getting enough to eat.

Just let them all in there when they all get fed, messing around doesn't help when there's nothing actually wrong. All get fed, fine.

Some bunnies are stronger nurseries than others. In some litters, there can be one or two smaller, more runty ones. sometimes they need a head start so they don't get out computed by the larger, stronger babies. It sounds like you did that and now things have evened out. Just continue to monitor their development. They may be fine from now on. If you notice any that are visibly malnourished, give them a 1 minute head start, then let the others in as well.
