I'm trying to find a hay farm, and I came across one that sells bales of orchard with a little alfalfa mixed in. Because my bun is over 6 months old, should I keep looking for another hay that has no alfalfa in it at all? He already has problems with calcium and I don't want to add to that.

I would actually like to know that as well for when my little baby bun turns 6 months

I would keep looking. If your rabbit has calcium issues, you'll want just grass hay. Alfalfa hay has about 3x the calcium of timothy hay.

@jess24rose , if you are feeding alfalfa hay now, it would be a good idea to already mix in some type of grass hay (timothy, bermuda, orchard...) . Otherwise, it may be difficult to get him to switch when the time comes.
