Please someone, my neighbours rabbit is free roaming and my mum just saw a big black dog running away with him in its mouth!!!!!!!

She got him away from it but he was screaming.

My neighbors aren't here, he's sitting on my knee, he's so scared, he cant even walk!!

What will I do??

He's in shock.

Keep him very warm, calm and get him to a vet, now... Here's hoping he's okay. :(

Ok they are home now, thank God.

He started walking again, but his front legs just aren't right....

He's not here anymore, they took him.

There didn't seem to be any broken bones, his back legs were def. ok, am worried about his front though.

He wasn't grining his teeth but I really think he's in pain. He just kept trying to hide:(

They aren't going to a vet:(

They think it's best if he just hides and relaxes, but I will tell them about the spine thing, hopefully will change their minds.

OMG...

Sweetie, I'm here for you and praying for Bubbles...

He's pretty much ok now:)

Still has a sore front leg...but overall ok. And they're not letting him roam anymore, he'll be secured in the garden.

I'm so glad you updated us - I was worried.

I'm glad he won't be allowed to roam!

That's great. How exactly did your mom get the rabbit out of the dogs mouth???? Just in case, I'd like to know.

Tell your mom that she is awesome.

Ummmm...she hit it with a brush...until it dropped Bubbles. She wasn't hurting it though. Just trying to shock itso it would drop him. Stupid ugly thing deserved to be hurt though...grr...I hate dogs so much.:X

My mum will be pleased to hear you think she's awesome!!:bunnydance: hehe

Me too!!:) He pees all over Pebble and Ebony's porch of their house:shock:, he's not neutered....

Glad to hear he's okay.

Don't hate dogs. Hate the people who would let their dog roam free.

Yeah, well, the people letting their rabbit run loose weren't to bright either. Hello, people, this is a PREY animal!Dogs aren't the only animal that will kill/eat a rabbit, even in town.

Im so glad to hear the bunny is okay. Give your mom a big hug from us. She is wonderful and so are you. I hope the people learned their lesson, theyre lucky their bunny is still alive.

That too, but now that problem has been taken care of.

Yes, it's good to hear the rabbit is ok. Mabye the owners will learn a lesson from this. They were very lucky you and your mom were alert and ready to help, or this story would have a different ending.

That's a really sweet pic, Missyscove! I want to hug them both, LOL.
