I know most turn the nest box over at 2 weeks, and then completely remove it at 3. But since Adeline didn't use a nest box, would it be okay to remove the entire nest now...and just put more hay for them to cuddle in? They appear to be going to the bathroom on their own (found a puddle of urine in the nest) and it's going to get them all messy if they lay in it. Right now they're half way across the cage, sleeping in her hay. Oh, and the babies are now exactly 2 weeks old.

We remove the box/nest depending on the weather. I think they would be fine as long as the nights don't make them chilled

I went ahead and removed it, mainly because they had pretty much destroyed it anyway. LOL When I tucked them in tonight, they were all cuddled up, and Adeline was laying with her head with them. Very cute. And I love the long legs and them figuring out how to hop. I spent about 7 hours, just watching them. LOL
