I highly doubt Thumper is sick, but I want some opinions.

When I first got him, even before I left my friend's house, I noticed a' ticking' in his nose when he breathes. Very light, and it sounded like a clock ticking. Thumper has a very flat little face, and I wonder if it's due to that

After I got him home, I noticed that he grunts as he breathes, fairly loudly sometimes, when he's cleaning his face or any other part of his body.

Then, as I was watching him just now, I noticed that his body moves foward as he breathes. Not really like he is straining to breathe, he just sways back and forth with each breath. They're also fairly slow and long, not short quick breaths like normal rabbits.

I was concerned about a URI at first, however he has not sneezed once since I've had him. He also has no nose discharge and his nose is dry.I listened to his lungs earlier when I put my ear to his back, and they sounded clear. No rattling or congestion that I could notice.

Could all this possibly just be due to his short little nose?

I don't know what the problem could be MBH,but i hope it's nothing serious

I just saw this!

This is weird, because a lot of what youre talking about was what Max sounded like as a baby. I got him when he was 5 months, so he was still pretty small.

There was never any discharge, just faint wheezing (I remember joking and saying he had asthma like his mommy). I always called him my little Monkey because he would make those noises when he cleaned himself. As you mentioned, his face was always a lot flatter than Basils so I thought maybe that had something to do with it.

Definitely keep an eye on him. Watch for discharge and sneezing. It might be worth having it checked out by a vet, but then I dont really know what they could tell you if theres no discharge. But it would probably be good to have someone listen to his lungs and heart, just to be sure.
