Chris and I have decided that we are going to start looking into buying a Bungalow. With my back problems I find it really hard going up and down the stairs. Honestly sometimes since the accidents I feel like I'm 90 not 52.

So wehave started looking around for houses. I've seen 2 so far that I fell in love with. I'm sure the first one sold already as that was over a month ago.

Well yesterday we saw another (raised bungalow)one with 3 bedrooms on main level and 2 smaller ones plus a kitchen and family room on the lower level. I really like this as it had the finished lower level. (That's one of the main things that I want for the bunnies). I loved that it had a kitchen on the lower level as I could have all the babies food down their. Wilbur and Jackie could have the room that has doors leadingto the POOL area (yes it has a pool too) and Winston and Vega could have the other room. Not sure where I will put Daisy Mae, Buttercup would be in the Family Room. See I have it all worked out, forget renting the lower level and making $700.00 at least a month. No my babies would have their own "Apartment."

Now all we have to do is wait to see what kind of offer I will get from the Insurance Companies. I'm sure we won't get this one unless it's still available for a while. I actually go on Thursday this week for a Mediation for the lawsuits. If the offer is not what we are looking for then it goes toa pre trial in September then the actual trial is in October. I'm hoping and praying that they will make good offers on Thursday.

So everyone tell mewe really do haveour priorities right,we`re thinking about the bunnies before we think of our pocket books. True Bunny Lovers we are.

Oh gosh Susan, that bungalow sounds perfect. And of course you have your priorities straight! :) When I was house-hunting several years ago, every time I walked into one for a viewing, I wasn't looking at 'where will I sleep' or 'where will my son sleep'; it was, 'Is there a yard big enough for the dog? Can I fit a litter box in somewhere?'...that sort of thing (of course this was before I had rabbits too...otherwise I'd be looking for a room for them too). Now I'd love to move into a bigger place...this one is far too small...but that will have to wait a while.

I really hope everything goes well for you on Thursday! And from what I hear, the housing market has slowed somewhat, so you never know...this bungalow may still be for sale when you're settled and ready to buy. Crossing fingers!! :D

LOL! I've told hubby already that when we finally find a farm that it will either have a bunny room or we will build one. Ideally, I want a sunroom with tile floors and up the wall a bit (no baseboard chewing! YAY) and then I could put some grass rugs in the room for traction and chewing.

Salesman: Are you buying this house for yourself?
Susan: No, we are buying this house for our bunnies. :biggrin2:

Good luck with the Mediation.

Sounds awesome - for both the bunnies and you and Chris :D

Our house has 4 bedrooms and a huge basement, and there is only John and I. When the people were selling it (cos their kids had left home and the house was too big for he 2 of them), they asked what we were going to do with a house this size. John rolled his eyes and, looking at me, said "give the rabbits plenty of room to run around". And ... he's right :biggrin2:. So yeah, I think your priorities are right ;).

Good luck
