We switched from Mountain Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time today (Sunday). Did everyone get an extra hours sleep, or what did you do with your time? I lost an hours sleep as I was up late lastnight. I was again at another Banquet on the weekend, and it was a very long supper. We were there for a friend's88th Birthday and their 68 Wedding Anniversary.

One of the dishes we had. Lobster in a cream sauce with noodles.

The next time we switch to Daylight Savings Time is March 8, 2009.

OMG we switched now i am praying that the kids get the hint and start sleeping later, now instead of 7-730 getting up they are up at 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we switched. My brain hasn't tho LOL!

So far, November isn't the best month I've had this year! October started it and we'll see how November goes along.

Some of you already know but others don't - I am waiting for news regarding a biopsy I had done. Hopefully it's nothing but there is a chance it is thyroid cancer. Once they give me some answers there, I might be a bit better...... I am just sort of stuck waiting at the moment.

*sigh*

Maybethere's somegood news that they haven't called back yet. I am sure if it was serious, they would of called you right away. I know it's nerve wracking not knowing, but to worry may seem to make it worst.
Pray it's not serious.

Glad to hear it's not cancer, Bo!!!

On October 30th, I was hit by a drunk driver just 4 miles from my home. I was itrapped in my car for 45 minutes in my car which waslaying onthe driver's side taking the jaws of life to remove me. I wascareflighted and hadsurgery on myright ankle the morning of October 31. I now have a 12 screws and a metal plate in my ankle. My left ankle is badly sprained. It will be quite a while before I can walk again as I am not allowed to put pressure on my right ankle for 3 to 4 months. In 3 months I am do have surgery again on my ankle to remove 2 of the screws. Other then that I just have bruises and little cuts.

Needless to say September and October have been awful. I was dealing with my gallbladder from the begining of September to the middle of October. I was able to go back to work for 2 weeks before the car accident.

No fun...

:hugsquish:Amanda!!!!

We could be twins. I have an 8 1/2 inch metal plate and 12 screws in my left leg (one of them holding the back of my tibia on). I broke myself this past April, and I'm still sore when walking. I was in the wheelchair for April, May and the beginning of June. I still use it occasionally when I have to walk long distances.

I hope your recovery goes very smoothly. Please check in and let me (us) know how you are doing. Being in the wheelchair can drive you stir crazy, I know!

Minda

I'm not even to the point where I can use a wheelchair. Everytime my legs go down and are not propped up I get pains. So besides being on my comode (uggh!) I am in bed with me feet up. I have to get the swelling in my sprained ankle to go down and then they want me to start putting pressure on my sprained ankle. I am having home physical therapy for 4 weeks with them being here 3 to 4 times a week. This is just to get strength back on my left ankle as it has to be able to support all of my body weight. When that happens I can start using a walker. But nonetheless I have a long road of recovery in front of me.

OMG Amanda! I am so sorry you had this happen! You poor thing!!

Keep us posted on how you are doing! I miss you visiting more!

I'll assume you didn't go to Kentucky?

No I didn't got to Kentucky, I was at home working rather then being at ARBA Convention. I'm glad I did stay home because at least I got 3 pay checks before being off work again.

What stinks the most is the fact I am still making car payments on a vehicle that is sitting in a garage that's under investigation. Today is a week since the accident and my car is still being held hostage so to say. My parents were able to go get some things out of my vehicle but were not allowed to touch the car. The police officer escorted them to the garage and pulled out any personal items he could at the time. They only pulled out my textbook, folder, and my cell phone which lost it's battery and cover. So as they look more into my car and the area is safer, I'm sure I will be able to get more items from my car. As for now my car has the roof just laying on top of the car and the windshield and windows are all shattered in the car.

As for posting, I might be around more now considering I am stuck in a bed.

So sorry to hear of your accident. Hope the swelling is better today and the pain has lessen. Keep all your losses and bills for the insurance company.

Oh we are keeping track of everything, including a log of mystatus for the day. Legal action has already been obtained. ;)

Well, if it had to happen, be thankful that it happened in a car accident. Mine was just tripping down a stair at the county courthouse. I couldn't even get a lawyer to take the case. ...sigh...
