NEW YEARS EVE !!

Hello !!

I'm back from my vacation!
It was nice to get away from the routine.

I spent the first day and a half back cleaning up the buns room...gotta have clean cages for the New Year, ya kno! Still have a bit of spot cleaning to do, and then litter pans get changed sometime before "the ball drops".

I've tried to catch up on most of the forum stuff, and I think I'm close to being back up to speed.

So what's everyone doing for the New Year??

We're staying home and having our traditional day of eating & drinkingnon-stop!!!
The Toon Channel is showing some movies throughout the day...Chicken Run, Mouse Hunt, Antz, Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I hope everyone had good holidays!! And the same wishes are extended for the New Year!!

Happy New Years everyone.

I am spending my New Years alone in a condo for the first time, it's kind of sad. I am supposed to have 2 room mates but I am the first one here, I'm not sure when the others willcome but I could possibly be alone until the 6th.

I am alsobunnyless for a while and it was so hard to leave the bunnies this morning. I miss them somuch.

It's no fun to be alone for a holiday.
I was alone for Xmas and just tried to make the best of it. Watched lots of movies, made lots of snacking food so I wouldn't have to sit down to a meal by myself, had a few glasses of eggnog

, etc.

Kind of what I'm doing today...without the "alone" part.
Earlier we made a big shrimp cocktail platter and a platter of Hors D'oeuvres.
I'm sippin some nog and watching Antz right now with the buns....well, no nog for the buns....hay cubes all 'round!
The kids are all upstairs watching a movie.
MrsD is in the livingroom watching her flicks.
And the doggy is making the rounds to see who's eating what!

Its ok, I feel better now. I still really miss my bunnies (I have to talk to my room mates but Reesie might be coming up) but one room mate showed up a little while ago. She is in 4th year.:shock:This is also her first time away from home and she came all the way across the country from Halifax (we're nearthe Alberta/BC border).

If nothing else, the views are amazing. There are only 2 houses directly behind this townhouse and then just trees and mountains so my room (the only one on the back of the townhouse) has amazing views. The front rooms look onto the road and lots of houses.

Anyways, I've been up since 4:45 so I may not make it until midnight!
