Hi Folks

New to the site but I have a question

I have "inherited" a New Zealand White ball of fur from my step daughter.

She lives outdoors (the rabbit, not the daughter) and having read on afew sites that they like company, I was thinking of getting her aplaymate. I think she is about 2 or 3 years old and I waswondering what thought you may have on the subject.

I would not get another rabbit. Whilerabbits are indeed social animals, they can be very territorial andyour rabbit may not take well to an invader in her warren.

Taking her out and giving her human companion ship will be sufficient.

Hi, my rabbits live outside and are very happywith their arrangement. I have two that live happily together and theygo in their run everyday (which they LOVE). If i were you i would getanother rabbit but ask advice from your vet of local rabbit breeder howto introduce them and don't just put them in with each other as theywill fight. Introduce them slowly. Other than that make sure they havea clean hutch, a large safe run lots of toys and TLC he or she will beone happy bunny!!
