I picked up this little guy a couple of days ago at my LPS and was toldit was some kind of mini lop. Any ideas what kind, and is itnormal for one ear to be up all of the time while the other ear isdown. Will the up ear eventually drop? Also anyideas about how old it is?

OMG! I want! What an adorable little bunny!

The baby looks to be pretty little still. He is a lop of some sort andlop baby's ears sometimes do the one up, one down fora while.I am not gonna guess on the age except that he/she is small so probablypretty young. Others on the forum will be better able to tell you theage.

Good luck with your little one! Is one of the eyes blue?

He is very very very cute! I'm no expert, but he does look pretty young. Maybe only 5-7 weeks...if that...

And welcome to the forum...I hope to see many more pictures of your new baby!

Here's a pic of my other 2 netherland dwarf bunnies. Both arefemale and very upset about the new baby so I'm having to keep themseparated right now. One of their favorite places to hang outis in the cat tree with the cats:p

I am hoping that the will accept the new one soon, the orange onepenelope is extremely dominant, so she's the one I am having thehardest time with. Penelope and Pepe have both been spayedand are probably about 6 months old.

Theyre all beauties! The buns and the cats seem to get along well. Mine do also. Your cat looks a lot like one of my cats.

That is one cute baby!!!!!!!!! I love that little guy!

I also like your other fur babies!

Please stick around and keep us posted on the new one and the others!

Welcome! :)

Looks a lot like Daisy when I brought herhome. She's a holland lop and was 8 wks when I gother. She had both ears up when I got her, but both fellreally soon after I brought her home. Someone told me it hasto do with the fact that she had been outside where it was cold and Ibrought her in where it was warmer...I'm not thinking I believe any ofthat, but Iguess it could be correct, although the person whotold me wasn't the most reliable source. Anyway, the earshould drop.

Just playing with you !!!

It could be a minilop. if it is its not oldenough to sell,i raised minilops for several years and ones old enoughtto wean do not fit in a measuring cup.Minilops ears are usually fullylopped by 8 weeks. The heat will make the ears lop faster.extreme heatwill sometimes make rabbbits ears lop that are not lops.bluebird
