Hi!
The other day we adopted a bun from the local animal shelter. He is a one-year-old lop and we don't know much about his background other than that he is healthy and neutured. My friend said his coloring reminded her of rocky road ice cream so we named him Rocky .
Rocky is still getting used to his new surroundings (and us) and we are giving him some space and time to do so. Little by little I do believe he will be less scared and allow us to pet him more often and without running away lol. Eventually we will get a bunny companion for him, but for now we are letting him adjust to his new space.
Here are some photos of him. The last one was taken when we were attempting to bond with him at the shelter. He curled up into a little ball but it was adorable.
