Neuter surgery

How long does the whole neutering procedure(actual surgery) take? Is it something done in one day that we can take him home the same day? Anything else we need to do prior to/after the surgery that we need to know about?

If the surgery is done in the morning they are usually ok to take home the same day. I had my boy done on thursday but they kept him in over nite because he was still a bit sleepy. Make sure u take food in for your bun because a bun should NOT be starved b4surgery like a cat or dog. ONe of the things to watch out for is to make sure they are eating after the surgery. It is also a good idea to keep your bun inside somewhere warmfor a few days after surgery.
