nesting

Can anyone who has had a breeding rabbit inform me when their rabbit started nesting.
I was reading, and it said that some bunnies sometimes start building their nest after the first 10 or 11 days of being pregnant, but then some bunnies only start nesting about 2 days before they are due to kindle.

I am just interested to know different peoples experiences with their bunnies.

Almost all will around day 28. My doe Opal makes a little tunnel in her nest box around day 28, but doesn’t line it with fur until just before she gives birth. I know Opal is getting closer when she stops spreading the hay from her nestbox around her pen.

yes my experience so far, is with an older bunny i had about 2 years ago, and she would only begin to nest about 2 days before hand.

Mine often dont nest until about 30 min before they give birth. It varies a lot
