my rabbit doesn't eat grass but he seems to eat this new hay i got. is it okay for him to eat this?
need to identify this hay and is it okay for a rabbit

I don't know what kind of hay is available in India. If you bought it, you can ask the place where you got it from. There also might be phone apps that can help you identify it from your picture.

i got it from someone's farm. They don't know names just call it grass and the bunny i have doesn't like garden grass at all but this is dofferent, its from an farm. and what application can i use to identify?

I have an app on my phone called "PlantNet" that I have used to identify weeds. I doubt if this is an international app. You would have to do an internet search to find an app that works in your area. If the farm you got your hay from uses it to feed other animals, then I would guess that it is safe for rabbits. In the USA, we always hear that Timothy hay, a grass hay, is the best, but there really isn't much difference nutritionally between the different grass hays. There is other hay that is sold here, mainly alfalfa which is a plant with leaves and flowers. Clover is also sometimes added to hay and clover is a plant nutritionally much like alfalfa. There is a higher calcium content in these plants, which can cause problems in some rabbits. They are also more fattening, which can also cause problems, but can also be a benefit for rabbits that need extra calories providing they can tolerate the calcium content.

All horse quality grass hay is acceptable for adult rabbits (as opposed to "cow quality" which can contain mold or legume hays like alfalfa).

I've never used it before, so I don't have much advice to offer on how to get the best results, though. I tried it for your picture and got these results, which are decidedly unhelpful. If you want better results, I would try again with a picture that is ONLY of the grass/hay itself (no hand and larger volume of plant).
