What position do you find it easiest to clip the nails of your rabbit?

i lay mine on their back as it calms them down... give them breaks in between paws that way they dont get to stressed

Do not lay bunnies on their backs please, it is really dangerous and even if they seem relaxed it is very stressful for them. It is called tonic immobility and it is a prey response to being forced into a vulnerable position. I have my bunny upright in the crook of my arm - she is leaning back slightly so I can see her bottom, but not lying on her back.

squidpop recently posted the following video that shows how to clip those nails. Mary Cotter (in video) has some great ideas. I had never seen this particular method of trimming nails. I especially like her method of ensuring the quick is not cut. And how she handles each paw while keeping bunny facing the same direction.

My current rabbit is particularly difficult and I've tried numerous ways. I tried this after watching the video and it worked just as she said. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried it. (I thought she might be demonstrating with a compliant rabbit as many how-to videos do. But this actually worked!)

[I did set up a table to be at about the height she uses.]

Thank you, squidpop!!

Oh another piece of advice I got from a video (sorry I can’t remember the link or I would post it here) - I really struggled to see my bunny’s nails because she is super fluffy, so i use a piece of lace to stick the nails through - holds the fur back and the you have the nails free to cut. Hope that makes sense/helps if you have bunnies with fluffy toes like mine!
