She may have gotten some debris in her eye from the dustpan. You can try a sterile saline eye drop to rinse the eye out. But if she still has a watery irritated eye the next day and/or you start to see any clouding on the cornea, it means she may have scratched the cornea and she'll need antibiotic and lubricating eye drops to be applied for at least a couple of weeks.

I don't know if you have access to any vets in your country, with specific rabbit training and knowledge, but if not, then you need to make sure whatever antibiotic is prescribed is considered safe for rabbits, as some antibiotics can cause fatal digestive illness.

i really appreciate your help.last night i finally took her to vet, and the doctor came up with the diagnosis of corneal abrasion( just as you predicted).he used fluorescein and blue light and then prescribed tetrracycline, artificial tear and ciprofloxacin for her.as you mentioned unfortunately here in iran vets dont know much about rabbits and as antibiotics might be deadly, i wanted to take her to an exotic specialist in the capital city, tehran –to make sure if the diagnosis is accurate–but also there's another problem, she's too nervous and taking her out is such a tense situation, specially that the capital is 50km away.i'm afraid if she gets a heart attack! ilike to know your opinion on this. thank you very much!

It sounds like the vet did the right thing. Those antibiotics are considered safe for rabbits and should be fine. I've used the same ones with my rabbits when they had an eye infection.

You're right that a stressful long trip to the vet could be difficult for an anxious rabbit. It's something I would only consider doing if I for sure couldn't get my rabbit the needed treatment at a vet that was closer to me. Glad you were able to find a vet that could help get your rabbit the right treatment.
