please help me we dont have any vets that have experience with rabbits in our country and my old rabbit he’s 1 year old have a bald spot in his back and the hair started fall in his thigh and he cant get stop itching himself!
i went to several vets everyone is telling me he’s totally fine
also did multiple checks to see if there’s any mites or fleas etc.
he’s clean! / he plays , eating very well and acting normal , except the part of the itching , also i feel like he’s plucking his hair and he have a poops that are darker and full of fur!
i have another rabbit and he’s fine with healthy fur!
i’ve searched a lot and i couldn’t find any similar case to mine
if anyone can help me to know what’s wrong with him 😭796C1ED8-5C57-4EDC-A959-C5BF089C9D72.jpeg

So the vet did do a skin scrape to check for signs of mites under the microscope and none were found? Are you seeing any dandruff, scaly or crusty skin? Does it look like the photos of any of these skin issues in rabbits, in the links below?

Medirabbit: fur mites

Medirabbit: sarcoptes mange

Medirabbit: fungal dermatitis
yes! he did and there’s nothing also the skin looks good and there’s nothing in it !

How long has this been going on for, and how long have you had this rabbit? Is it possible he's just going through a heavy molt where the rabbit sheds a lot of fur creating bald spots, before the new growth starts growing back in?

You could try treating for mites if you want, to see if it helps. Treatment would be ivermectin or selamectin(Revolution, Stronghold). Not sure what you have available to you. The only other possibilities would be an allergy, though this would be pretty rare. Then possibly sebaceous adenitis. This actually looks similar to your rabbits photo. But the main reason I'm not sure it would be this is because it typically doesn't cause itching, and will usually result in some thickening of the skin. So those would be my guesses as to what possibly could be going on.

Medirabbit: sebaceous adenitis

The main thing of importance when having a vet not experienced with rabbits that is treating them, is making absolutely sure any medications used are rabbit safe and at the correct dose, as some common cat and dog medications can be fatal if used or given to rabbits. One thing you could try, is seeing if the vet you go to is able to consult with a rabbit specialist in another country.

As a side note, since you noticed fur in his poops: It would help gently brushing lose fur out when he molts, too much ingested fur can sometimes cause problems.
