Hi, my friends son found 4 baby (wild) bunnies in their back yard. They put them in a box for the moment due to the fact they have a huge Doberman that runs in their back yard. She said that no one has seen the mother anywhere. They supposidly fit in the palm of their hand.

She also said that most of the neighbours have dogs so she's not sure what to do with them. I was wondering if I should bring them to our back yard. I'm sure my neighbours would not be thrilled but better than the alternative. Or is it?

Please someone give me advice ASAP, as I'll have to go get them.

Thanks

Susan:(

I wouldn't have thought bringing them to your yard would be a good idea.. then their mum won't be able to find them..

All I can think of is to have your friend put them back where she found them, maybe with something over them so that only mummy rabbit can get in but they'll be safe from dogs etc?

And keep an eye out to see that they're being looked after..

Dunno.. That's probably what I would do, not sure if it's right.
