Well on March 3rd, which was a Wednesday, I had to have my cat Annie put to sleep. She was an old cat, about 15 years old. She didn't eat at least for a few days before. She did drink water the day before. When I got home I checked on her and she was basically lifeless, maybe weighing 2 pounds. So I called my mom, thankfully she was in Port Orchard (not too far away), she came over and checked Annie and said that it would be in Annie's best interest to be put to sleep. I am still feeling very sad about this, but I am feeling better each day. I got Annie from a friend who lived in Westpark, because she could not have 3 cats at her new place.
I miss Annie's meow and wanting attention.
She could not stand or walk. She was skinny, like skin and bones. I was going to get her to the vet this month, but too late.
I am not going to get any more animals until I am sure that I can afford vet care for the new animal. I am mad at myself for not getting her in to see the vet sooner, but witheverything that was goingon I didn't have the money until this month.
Had to go to All Creatures to get her put to sleep. My mom actually was very nice and paid for the euthanisia. I saw the whole process. First time. The vets at All Creatures were very nice and knew exactly how I felt.I got a paw print to remember Annie by.
