Morning Glory Clouds

I've always been attracted to clouds, and the Astronomy Picture of the Day website has several links to a really wild weather phenomena, called a "Morning Glory Cloud". Check it out, below:

It's pretty fascinating stuff, if your read about it. Just another reason why I think Australia is my next vacation destination.

wow what a beautiful cloud formation. I admire the guy in the plane when it says that the clouds can cause bad turblence in planes.

Wow!! Those are some neat looking clouds!

The shade pattern they make is quite interesting, too!

Now I must go to Queensland, Australia; both to see those clouds and everything else there, too, of course. lol.

I wonder if any members here that live in Queensland have seen these formations before?
