I want to make sure that I am feeding my bunnies the correct amount of veggies and pellets I find a lot of guides that recommend amounts served in cups and including variety but I’m not fully clear on exactly what that means. Referring to a cup size feels pretty vague. I recently had my bunnies weighed when they were spayed/neutered and all was fine however I know that as they get older and especially post neuter/spay they can put weight on more easily. I’m looking for a more precise example guide to exactly what you would give a small-medium sized rabbit over 6 months of age per day? As an example if you were going to feed cabbage one day would it be 1 leaf and how much of other things could be fed with it? I hope this makes sense I may not have explained it well! Thanks everyone!

When referencing a cup it literally means a cup. Like a 1 cup measure. 250ml.
And cabbage should not be fed due to the risk of gas.
Have a look through our forum library for feeding guidelines.

Ahh thank you for clarifying I feel so stupid now I’m from the UK and we don’t use cup measurements never thought about it being a convertible volume!

Thanks for the links I’ve always fed cabbage as the rescue centre we adopted them from fed cabbage and we continued it I then saw it appear on a bad list as causing gas and bloating but I’ve never had a problem in any of my four rabbits so I carried on. Every time I saw cup all I thought of was a drinking cup expect they come in all sizes which is why I didn’t understand the reference seems so obvious now haha
