Thank you. I wasn't exactly looking to get another bunny just yet until I've had Sid spayed, but I was telling my friend the next rabbit I wanted to get would either be a Harlequin or a Mini Rex (I used to raise both), and then I saw her at the pet store, and I just had to get her.

I'm choosing between a Satin or a Harlequin as my next bunny... and I'm having the hardest time! The harlequin breeder is a LOT closer, but the litters he has currently won't be ready till the end of August. They seem like really sweet bunnies though. I've visitied his rabbitry twice already, to see the little day-old dears :D and the rest of his bunnies. What did you think about Harlequins when you bred them?

I loved them. They were very nice. I especially love the blue. I also had 2 satins. They were nice, too. Personally, I just love the color of the harlequins. Out of curiosity, where in Michigan are you? I'm just wondering where the breeder is. I moved down here a year ago and don't know any breeders yet.

I live in Gaylord.... which is really far up north. The breeder is in Kalkaska (an hour away) and he's the closest breeder (of any breed) thatI could find! There are plenty of different breeders down your way, though, and rescues, too! Lucky bum! Here's his (small and rarely updated) website: http://www.geocities.com/hocuspocusrabbitry62/

He has lots of older babies now, but I'm going to wait for the newest litters to be weaned... they were born a few days ago and there is another due tommorrow. Maybe you should get a darling from him ;) Three times the charm!

Ah, I'm from the UP, so I pass through there if I ever go home.

Thanks for the info. I'm not looking for another one yet. I'd like to wait til the 2 I have are spayed and to see if I can bond them, since I don't really have room for 3 cages here.

Ha...You don't even want to know what my room looked like growing up....absolutely full of cages...I had just about everything. I also had horses and a rabbitry outside. Actually, I wouldn't mind all the cages, but my friends already think I'm a little weird having just the 2 rabbits and 2 cats in my one bedroom apartment. Also, though I am allowed to have pets, I don't think my landlord meant that I could have ALL the pets I want.

Page is such a cutie!! I love her markings on her face...just darling!! :)

:bunnydance::bunnydance: Maisie and Flower say, "Nice to meet you, Page!"

Oh man! You sound JUST like me!! I'm in the same situation! Two cats and two buns in a one bedroom! I, too, have two unspayed girl bunnies, and am waiting until they are both spayed until I can introduce them and attempt bonding. Wow...that's too funny!

Anyway, nice to know I'm not the only lady out there that is almost living in a small zoo! LOL!! Sounds like you know how it feels to have your friends walk into your place, and say, "ANOTHER rabbit?!" Haha...

I've always had loads of pets, too...aren't they wonderful? :)

Hi, nice to meet you, too. Yeah, I love them so much. My friends just don't understand why I am spending money to get them bigger cages and have them spayed/neutered, etc. My cats' food is more expensive than mine. Ha. I am a law student, so I don't really have that much money, but I'd rather have a few happy, healthy pets than go out to the bar one or two more nights a week.

I COMPLETELY agree. Furbabies are so wonderful! :)

I'll join that club! I just built my bun a new NIC condo in the house. I have 3 cats, a dog, 2 birds, a bun and fish in a 2 bedroom appartment. My friends joke that I have the whole food chain. LOL! But I wouldn't trade them for the world. They all came to me, the only animal I actually went out looking for was my oldest cat Fluffy who I've had for going on 11 years. Cheers to all the animal lovers out there!

I love the coloring on Page, that mask is sooooooo adorable!!!

And cheers to you, too, Becknutt! :)

P.S. Does your username mean you're a fan of Beck? If so, I'm crazy about him, too. Did some work at his house with my husband once, and just swore I was gonna die. Didn't see him while we were there, but nearly fainted at seeing his shoes. Lol! He's a fabulous musician. :)

LOL! Thats cool. I do like Beck but that's not why I have the name. Though I get that alot. My name is Becky and when my husband and I were dating he gave me the nickname Becknutt and it stuck. ;)He now has my entire family and 1/2 my friends calling me that!

Hehe! That's funny! Where on earth did he get that nickname?

I know what you mean, I've had nicknames stick with me, too. A couple of jobs ago, the guys would call me Ro instead of my full name of Rosanna. I guess it was just shorter, wuicker to say.

Well, my then boyfriend, now husband, came by and heard them calling me that, and he mentioned to someone at a job I went to after that one, and it's just followed me around! I wound up quitting that original job for another, and then that company closed, and we now are business partners with one of the guys we worked with at the company that closed, and he still calls me Ro. It's funny to still hear that nickname now about four years later! Hehe!!

I think the funniest thing about it is the fact that I honestly can't remember how exactly it started...not to mention the fact that I actually instantly respond to it!

Lol! That's about the same with Becknutt. I can't remember how it started, it's been going on 8 years now. Who knows what gave him the idea...

I guess I'll respond to just about anything you can make out of my name. Rebecca, Becky, Becca. But I used to have a co-worker who called me Reba and I HATED it. So it became a big joke for the wholeoffice to call me Reba. The guy who started it was named Chris and since there isn't much you can make out of that name, I started calling him any name but his own, after a while Craig stuck so everyone called him Craig and me Reba. I actually had new hires thinking his name was Craig, it was really funny.
