Babes are 2 weeks old today andyesterday they all hopped out of the nest! These are 6 of7. The other tan baby likes to run around and bothermom. She likes to hop up on her 2nd story den abovethe nest to escape. Does anyone know if they need to be INthe nest for mom to feed them?I put them all backin before bedtime just in case.

Any minute, Amy! Just keep your eyes on em.Ours opened theirs when my daughter was holding and petting them.

Remove that litter immediately. It is sobad for bunns. As they groom that litter clumps and stays in thetummies leading to blockages. Try newspaper, Yesterday's News and thecheapest and best is Woody Pet. That clumping litter is some scarystuff. Also avoid pine and cedar shavings as they lead to respiratoryproblems.

The family is adorable. They are all so cute

Thank you! I haven't heard any advice about litter. What is Yesterday's news and Woody Pet? A kind of newspaperlitter?

yesterday's news is paper based :) that's what iuse.. i find it's really good.. i've tried wood pellet litters, butdont like the smell (dont kill me jimd lol) ..there's also a wheatgrass based litter called cat country (which i think also comes incritter country, but the cat country is fine) and it'sorganic.. i also use the large bags of yesterday's news they have withthe cat litter. it's a lot cheaper than buying the little bags theymarket for rabbits etc! also, get the nonscented type..

cute babies!! :D

They are adorable!!! I'd be glued to the cage watching them all day were it me. :p

I second what Tina says, clumping litter is the worst possible litterfor rabbits. Woody Pet is available at Tractor Supply, handsdown it is the best litter out there, and the cheapest too. It's usedfor horses too, so you can look at places that sell horse supplies.

They're all so gorgeous. I love their colors, kidsbuns. It's so pretty.

Great pictures! :dude:
