Anybody else up still/yet?

I just got done with a major cleaning in the buns room. Took all day starting at around 10am.
Even took my meals with them so they could have some supervised run time.

First I opened Rosie's pen....and she sat there and looked out for about 10 minutes before retreating to her cage....bunnie issues. :?
So MooShu, S'more, and Chippy all got about an hour each....not at the same time though.

I'm off today (Monday) so I'm going to finish up the cleaning, and then straighten up the workshop.
You never know when you might have visitors.

I've been up and down all night! It's cold here and I don't sleep well when it's like this. I get up and check the kids, the animals and the furnace (we had a serious furnace issue several years ago and could have all died from CO2 poisoning. Lucky for us, I had a window open a bit and woke up from the smell of oil cause we'd had a lot of problems with it).....

So anyhow....... I got up at 5 with hubby - to make his hot cocoa - he's working outside today

The dog is staring at me - wants to go back to bed. She won't go to bed without me....... :?

I finally went to sleep around 2am.
I stayed up watching some kind of ghostie-haunted-spookie-something-or-other.

Got up at 7am....so I'm still kinda out of it.....need more coffee:caffeine

Routinely I check on the buns first thing when I get up.
I wake them up, turn on the lights, put on the news.
I take their food bowls out, empty the left overs,and put bowls on top of their cages. ..... and then go put coffee up (for me...buns get too hyper). I go back down and feed & water them while the coffee's brewing.
This morning I was good right up until I started putting food bowls back.
Grabbed Tootsies bowl and put it in her cage, then Binx, then Rosie....headed back down to start on the next row and I look back to see the 3 of them sitting there franticly looking at me and then in their bowls.....



"WHERE"S THE FOOD, DADDY??!!??":foreheadsmack:




I've been listening to the puppy bark for the last hour or so. We're trying to get her used to being in her crate, but it's not going too well this morning. Usually she settles down after 20 minutes and takes a nap.
Did I mention that we have a new puppy?:expressionless

A new puppy? Whoa! That's a lot of work! LOL! Tough to crate train them, but SO worth it in the long run!

Awww, thanks for asking. They're getting better. Don't look as bad as they did. My vision still gets blurry when I get tired (or look at the computer too long...). But I'm much better than I was! Should be fine by this weekend... gotta be better soon... I'm driving down to Lebanon next weekend with a truck full of people and rabbits! LOL! :biggrin2:

Today was my birthday so I went home again this weekend. Mind you that was stupid, I am extremely lucky that I didn't end up in the ditch (the snow plow almost went into the ditch right in front of me). Anyways I made it in one piece.

Today the roads were great. They were wet but you could see where the lanes were and it wasn't so slippery. So I spent the weekend with my bunnies.

But I tell you, today has been hard. This is my first birthday in 4 years that Spice hasn't been here with me. I had to bring one of my blankets back that has 2 holes in it that Spice chewed in and the bunny stuffed animal that Spice chewed on it's ear just because it reminds me of him and in a way it helps.
