missing fur

Just a few days ago, I noticed Cocoa missing some fur above his nose. The spot wasn't totally bare, but it did look different. He has been shedding a lot lately too. Is this just the process of getting a new coat? I have no clue! This is my first bunny and he hasn't shed like this before.

Appears to be a normal molting pattern.

Harper's nose does the same thing when he begins his normal molting. He also gets the weird patterns down his back towards his fuzzy little butt. As Pam said, looks pretty normal.

My boys both have the same thing right now.

Just shedding . Oh I remember when Pepsi was little and growing into her winter coat. She had this dark V pattern on her forehead so it looked like she was frowning and very angry . And to see it on this baby dwarf, it looked so funny!

How often do bunnies molt?

I think this is the first time Cocoa's done it since I've had him.
