My daughter was given this rabbit and was told she was a Mini Rex. What do you think?

Oh and while I'm asking. Is this a dwarf or a mini

I'm such a lost cause as to the different breeds of rabbits and I wish people would not give my kids rabbits

The top one does look like a mini rex... is the fur soft and plush-like and springy?

I'm not sure about the bottom one. It looks like a lop with erect ears, because it has the nose markings and kind of the eye markings. Maybe someone else will come that can name the bottom one.

How does your daughter keep getting rabbits w/ out your permission? lol just wondering.

Thanks
yes Scotch's fur is very soft and springy.. The nother is real soft and fluffy. The girls are 15 and 16 and I think they think well mom loves animals so she won't mind. Animals are great really but every animal I own pays its way and these 2 little bunnies are not. luckily they are both female so no kits without a male :D. Not sure what the market is around here for the little ones and the lady at the pet shop only pays $5 each and sells for $35 so no good that route either.
Thanks again

She is appoximately 4 or 5 months old and weights roughly 2 pounds. She is very fluffly mostly white with tan ears and a tan spot near her nose.-

Thanks everyone.. I guess we will never really know what she is unless I happen to talk with the people that gave her to my daughter.. Thanks again for your time.:D

Some times you can tell what kind of rabbit it is by the weight, fur texture, fur color, fur length.

Anyways,It's just me but I think your rabbit the was that was supposed to be a mini rex I think is a mini lop/mimi rex/dwarf cross. I have a mini rex/lop/dwarf cross she got to be 5 pounds when she was a adult and she was the sweetest thing.

Good luck with the rabbit.:bunnydance:
