Metacam Doseage

Hi Folks
My vet prescribed up to 2 ML of metacam with my rabbits food once a day. He is just under 2kg in weight.I get confused by the syringe which has got 0.1 0.2 upwards then at the bottom 1.0 which will it be?

Metacam typically comes in 2 strengths. 0.5mg/ml and 1.5mg/ml
Perhaps you can let us know which strength you have.

I also know Jenny has discussed metacam dosage with you already. Perhaps you should go back and re-read her advice.

Thanks it is 1.5mg/ml

Is it a 1ml syringe that you have? That would be what the total amount is that the syringe can hold.

I am meeting Sarah tomorrow morning at 8.30 with Jasper. I understand she is very experienced with rabbits. I have managed to get a replacement syringe with clear markings. I have started him on 1 mil snd will give him another 1 mil this evening so he has painkiller over night. I am reluctant to give him Calpol 6 until Sarah sees him. Thanks for your advice
