I'm Northern Irish.

The brits didn't "take over" I was born her, as were all my ancestors for at least the last 350 years. I resent people who don't know their history well enough and skip to the summarative.

However, Derry is a place of massive political conflict over this and much closer to the border than the majority of Northern Ireland, it's natural that some of the residents would feel this way.

But really no one has anyright to force their opinions on others.. especially someone who doesn't have a comprehensive view of our history.

Saying Northern Irish saves blood being shed.

Incidentally, I have both an Irish and British Citizenship :)

Thanks Lynette!
I have actually done a ton of study on the History of Northern Ireland over the last two years, it's really interesting :)
I actually didn't realise that there is still some tension and conflict up there until my history teacher was telling us she was verbally abused for having a Southern reg car when visiting there.
