Meet the New Girls

I have good news. I amadopting two little girls. Gypsy is letting me have two of her girls. Ihave already picked my babies out. I should say we were broughttogether. I see them and I feel this incredible pull and the thought ofnot having them is truly heart breaking. I can't explain it any betterthan that.

This is Christa. Her name means touched by Christ which seemsso appropriate. She has a cross on her back. This is Darling's sister.So this makes her a bit more special to me.

This is Hopi's family. She has the same pull and influence on me that Christa does.

Hopi is the little darker gray broken laying across the back.She is a doll. Her name started as a joke but I really like it.

Gypsy is not only letting me be their Mom, she is going tostart boding them as soon as they are old enough to leave mom. They aregoing to be spayed little pampered house girls. I will be picking themup, you guessed it in July.

They are three weeks old now. I am so excited. I told Jeremytoday and he was on Cloud9. He just adores them. He asked me to printtheir pictures so he could hang them on his bedroom wall.

I will be adding the girls to Apollo's Acres. I will be putting all their pictures and updates there.

They are absolutely precious, I can just imagine how excited youare. Here's hoping the time will fly by until July (hey, thatrhymed! )

Oh - I so understand this. When I saw her babies I wasimmediately drawn to certain ones too....just like when I was drawn toKyo & Tio. In my case, my family is all from NewEngland and my mom lived in NH for years and my mother in love stilllives in New Hampshire while my father in law lives in SouthernMaine. I wish I could have "New England" bunnies.....

Anyway - I understand your pull totally - and I LOVE the names for those precious little buns.

I realized I left out the joke about Hopi's name. I was talkingto a friend and made the comment that I was HOPIng she'd bemine. I loved the name and it stuck lol.

Gypsy made sure to remind me that Hopi wil be a good sized girl5-6 pounds. Bless her heart I told her Apollo is 18 pounds lol. 5-6pounds and Christa will be about 4 pounds:shock::shock:. They arelittle girls-Really.

Oh Tina....this made me tear up. Somehow, with a Flemish - itseems so appropriate that they have a younger/smaller brother orsister. I don't know....but they seem to be so "patient"(except with us humans who are supposed to serve them). Atfirst, Tiny would let the 'tweebs all over him and he would nuzzle themand comfort them.

I'm so happy for your family - for the girls - and for Apollo too. Y'all are so blessed.

Sadly, Apollo will not be able to playwith them. He is intact and I'm afraid he would get a little too friskyand hurt one of them. They will be visiting each other with a cage toseperate them.

I couldn't think of a better home that the girls could be going to.What very lucky babies they are and what a lucky family at ApolloAcres. You are all completely blessed!
