Lumps under Snoopy's Chin

My three year old lop, Snoopy, has developed several small lumps under his chin. They vary in size, with the smallest pea sized and the largest the size of a pistachio.

The vet did a needle aspiration, but couldn't get any definitive results. Other than the lumps, his behavior is normal. Eating, playing, snuggling, etc.

Any suggestions?

Did your vet get anything out with the needle aspirations?That is a common area for abcesses, although problems with lymph nodes, scent glands, or cancer are also a possibility. Is it possible for him to go in surgically and remove one? I think you can also do blood tests for bacterial infections- that might be a good non-surgical option, but I'm not sure which types they detect.
