Loki has fleas!

Hey guys,

I'm sorry that I haven't been around much lately. School and work have been crazy hectic. I have the worst news! I found FLEAS on Loki today!

I thought rabbits rarely got fleas! I don't understand where he could have gotten them from. The only thing I can think of is from the stray cat that broke into our apartment a couple of weeks ago. I need some advice!


What do I do to get rid of his fleas?

The vet can prescribe a topical application. A strong carpet scrubber can help to remove larvae from your carpet. Also clean the rabbit's entire bedding area.

My vet gave me the smallest prescription of advantage for kittens. Frontline is bad for rabbits though.

Could someone tell me if you can use fleabusters carpet powder with rabbits in the house?
