Ok well I don't know if I had mentioned this butDallas and Teresa are pigs. It has progressed so bad that we are nowcleaning there cage daily.

Connor and Elvis are great. Just a few stray poops here and there.Ringo and Sam not all the poop goes in the litter pan but the urinedoes. Dallas and Teresa go EVERY WHERE! They have a huge litter pan onthe bottom and one on the top.

Cage when first made:

So now they are losing that cage and getting a much smaller one while we work on litter habbits.

Connor gets theirs. Elvis gets Connor. We plan on getting supplies andexpanding Elvis's cage and putting it on top of Connors. Hopefully theystart changing habbits soon, than they can get alittle more room. Wewill give them alittle more each time.

I feel guilty about putting them in the small cage but it is a pain cleaning that every day.

I had a problem with Blue once before i hadgotten the nic cage made she lived in the xlarge super pet home. Shewouldn't use her litter box so i took it out and put litter in thecage. Ohhh she hated that I left it that way for like 2 weeks then Iput her pan back in and made sure she had to get in it to eat anddrink, never had a problem after that LOL

Lol

Hahahahahaha. That is hilarious! What a mess!

I'm lucky, Madilyn only pees inside her litter pan with a few poopies here and there outside her pan...same with the boys.

One thing I can't stand is bunny pee all over, thats why the boys have 4 stinkin' litter pans:disgust:.

Seriuosly it is beyond me. As I said Elvis and Connor are awesome. Ringo and Samantha always pee in the litter pan, poop eh.

Someone tell me I am not horrible for putting them in that cage????

you are not horrible for putting them in thatsmall cage-its there fault not theirs....If they just go in the litterbox then they can have there big cage back....I cant stand bunny peeall over the house....the poopsies are okay once in a while cause theyare so easy to clean up....but that mess is horrible!Your bunns soundalot like my old bunn Paxy(as does everything)...3 miuns after I cleanthe cage every thing was all messy, litter pan flipped overect......good luck with the litter training though:bunnydance:,
Samantha and bunns

You're not horrible....they just need to learn.

Why must our bunnies go against us today:rollseyes?

:shock::shock:

Little piggies!!:disgust:

It's not cruel, when they learn they have to use the tray they get the big cage back.:)

Is there anyway you could get them flooring that's not soft? I don'tknow about other rabbits, but my girls like to pee on softthings:rollseyes....maybe that could help a little?

You are not horrible. :D

It is temporary, until they getit right .... the world is nottheir litter box.
I am not showing this to Pebblesthough, she might pick up some badhabits. ;)

Rainbows! :D

My best suggestion would be to get somepegboard, have Home Depot (or whoever) cut it to size for the cages(including levels), and put that as a flooring (with the current sheetunderneath). It's VERY easy to just sweep up messes onpegboard...and if they decided to chew it, it's okay because it'smerely compressed wood. :)

Then, every now and then inspect underneath and then you can just takeup the sheet and shake out whatever mess gets under thepegboard. :D

Works GREAT for us! :)

oh wow! I can tell when Spring gets upset causethere are more poops outside the box but thankfully he pees in thelitter box! YAY!
Wow! I just can't get over how dirty that became in a day!

I hope they start "behaving"

All fixed. Well one isn't but he cant. Also he pees in it and gets most of the poop in it.

Was wondering about them peeing. Would that mess it up?

Woah! That mess is scary, cant imagine what it would look likeafter a day:shock:

Anyways all i really know is that Binky pooped and peed everywhere whenI had another rabbit living in his cage with an nic barrier in themiddle, and she is usually great with the litterbox. Maybe they arehaving some territory issues? except im sure they are bonded becauseyou wouldn't leave them together if they weren't.

The two togther are. Even having them somewherenot near the others it still goes on. The boy (main culprit) was likethis even when he was completely alone.

WOW! My bunny is a pig too. She will dump her litterbox out, poop EVERYWHERE, and pull up her tray liner. So I feel your pain.

You are not mean for putting them in a smaller cage. They obviouslycan't handle the restraint needed to have a big cage. They'll learn, don't feel bad.
