Ahh the wonderful world of NIC. Where were you all my life. Just think a wonderful sized rabbit cage for under $30. Thats 3x the largest sized marchioro cage and 1/4 of the price. Im not completely done yet. I still need an idea for the bottom. Any suggestions? Also no ledges for these full grown buns, theyre alittle to heavy and really dont like to climb things. I will be switching every cage over to these within the next month. Got the cubes on sale for $12.99/box.

AWESOME! :D Great job!

Hmm, are your bunniesgood with their litter boxes? I don't see why you couldn't keep the fleece (I think that's what it is?) on the bottom, thenwhen needed wash it and shake it out. Might be careful about the fringed edges in case some naughty bunny tries to dig at the floor and manages to chew them.

You could also get a sheet of plywood, put some peel and stick tiles down (Make sure they have texture to them) and if you want, you could also make sides on the piece of plywood to keep the hay, poop etc. mess in.

I know your guys will just LOVE the NIC cages, mine do!

I love the new cage. Do you have a door on yours? Mine ended up being a 3x3, but I only had 23 panels so on one side there is a lower spot so I can just step in, and Orion doesn't hop out. He actually likes it cause he can stand and look around from it. We use linoleum on the bottom. It's really easy to clean up.

Looks like they're enjoying it already! :)

For the bottom, if you're going to keep the fleece on there, you could put linoleum or vinly flooring, it's extremely cheap in most cases. Especially if you're able to find remants. Also I've heard that stick on tiles work great.

Would they be able to jump over the top?
