One of my Sr Mini Rex does, Zoe, is having a lot of trouble keeping her balance. She went to put her feet up on the cage door at feed time this am, and fell over. She seems to be holding her head straight, but leans to the left slightly when she moves. I looked in her ears, and they look clean and normal to me. When I was putting her back in her cage, I had my hand under her belly and she fell off my hand and rolled on the floor for a minute, unable to get up.
Is thisthe begining of head tilt, or something else? I just got through spending $80 on an English Spot that was a rescue, and I don't have the funds to take her to the vet.
She is still eating, but not as much as normal. I noticed that she has lost probably 1/4 to 1/2 a pound. She was a little overweight, so she isn't actually thin now, but the loss worries me anyway.
