Is taking a bun on holiday a good idea??

We have our special needs minilop Flopsy, she needs meds twice daily, wash once daily (and blow dry and applied topical ointment to some areas), and a cooked meal at night.
We are going on holiday for a week in a week, and have worked out that we are going to hire a pet sitter but I'm wondering if a pet sitter would deal with these kinds of animals.
My family think the idea of taking her on holiday with us is a good idea, but my opinion it isn't. (Stress, food, housing, ect) . I'd want to know if it is only me who thinks this?
I had the idea of boarding her at the vets, but so far most others in this household disagree as she would not get her warm meal at night or the topical ointment. If I really worked at it I think they may agree though.
I wanted to stay at home to care for the pets, but they insist I need to come.
Any opinions/advice/ideas appreicated

Depends on where your going,
If you are heading to some9nes house where their is a nice quite guest room and no other pets then yes you should bring him with you but if you are going to a restraunt or party or something loud and exiting then definitely dont bring your bun!

Unless the pet sitter is rabbit experienced, I would not leave a rabbit with special needs (especially washing and blow drying) with a pet sitter.

I think if you're able to figure out a low-traffic, somewhat spacious place for her at your holiday location, that would be an ideal choice (given you're able to do all the medication needs on holiday as well). If that's not possible or you will not be able to during the holiday, I would say the vet, as they are somewhat more obligated and expected to follow through with necessary medical processes and are more likely to do them safely than an inexperienced pet sitter.

Yes, I thought the same thing. I doubt we will be able to get a rabbit experienced sitter so that probably isn't an option.
The place we are staying is low traffic and we could do medication needs, but we don't have a place for her to stay if it isn't the carrier we take her to the vets in, which isn't spacious enough for that amount of time.
So far I think the vets will be the best option

I wonder if there is a forum on here that could be opened for wanted and offering bunny sitting? I mean theres loads of dog and cat kennels but hardly any bunny sitting services. Sounds like a dream job for me
