IS SHE HURT?

my rabbit bun buns jumped off my lap onto the hard wood floor, do you think shes hurt? it was about a meter high. do you think her foot might have been hurt?
how high can a netherland dwarf rabbit jump?:colors:

If she's not limping or hopping funny, I think she should be fine. My guys will jump on and off the couch all the time, and they are fine.

Is she limping or anything? If not, she should be fine. My netherland jumps off the couch all the time, but thats carpet.

As long as shes not limping or favoring the other feet, she should be fine.

As the others said, just make sure she's not limping or has any odd bumps on her legs. Just keep an eye on her for the next few days, and see what she looks like when she's hopping at a steady pace. If she doesn't want you to touch it, or there's a lump or swelling or anything, then take her to the vet. How did she land? Did she actually fall onto her chest/head or something, or did she just land safetly? Don't worry, my rabbit's actually jumped out of my hands from over a metre high and landed on his side and he was fine.

Rabbits are pretty agile creatures. If she landed on her feet, and doesn't look sore, then she's fine.

i was sitting at the computer chair and i was holding her then she suddenly jumped out of my hands and landed on her feet. So i was curious and i put her in the cage and let her eat. This morning shes having her free time and shes running pretty fast and having A LOT OF binkies and her legs seem fine. Thanks for the help.

Just realized this should really be in the infirmary, so I moved it for you.

Your bun sounds like she's doing fine, and that the jump didn't bother her. I think when a rabbit decides to jump down on their own,they are more prepared and less likely to injure themselves vs being dropped and not being prepared.
