Arlo is 2 months old. I got him on March 7. It is currently 7PM where I live. I haven’t seen him eat any hay all day. He finished all his pellets this morning. He’s been laying around all afternoon. I’m worried he may have gone into gi stasis. I can’t tell if he’s sitting in a loaf or if he is pressing his stomach to the ground. help!! I don’t have any baby gas relief drops currently but should I run to the store and get him some??

Well now I don’t know. He flopped for the first time ever (cutest thing) and he was playing with his one toy. If I put a piece of hay in front of him he’ll eat but it’s kinda like I’m forcing him to. He did eat his cecotrope as well. I’ll keep an eye on him.

Does he normally eat his hay alright? Does he have pellets out to eat and he's not eating those either?
He’s ok now it was just a scare. Usually he’s awake and playing and eating hay around 6-6:30 so it was just a little weird that he wasn’t. It seemed like he was sleeping more than usual but it could also just be because it’s very quiet in the house at the moment since my brother isn’t home (and he’s typically loud.) He’s eating his hay now and playing with his favorite toy. Like I said it just seemed like his schedule was a little off and I have anxiety so I overthink every little thing.

He finished all his pellets this morning! He’s good now he’s eating hay and he even flopped for the first time ever!!
Oh honey. You're being so precious and awesome for Arlo. <3 Arlo looked as if loafing. When you have time and get a chance to watch Arlo, watch how he folds in his legs when he loafs. It's very similar to how a cat does it.

I know he’s happy and that I’m doing a good job I’m just extremely paranoid! I just want to protect him at all costs! Anyways he’s ok now!!

Welcome to my world! I've had Sir Lawrence for 3 years now, and still feel like this constantly! Not that he stresses me out, I just want to do right by him... You'll get tuned in to Arlo, and learn to read his signals and moods...

I've learned to distinguish between trouble with Lawrence and him being in a mood or mad at me! 😂

So glad to hear Little Arlo is fine!

Trust me. I know the feeling. I'm sure a lot of us know how you feel.
