I’ve had Arlo for exactly 2 weeks today. He’s 2 months old. He loves to chew practically everything. He started to chew the pee pads I had down in his playpen that were over the foam mats. I obviously didn’t want him to ingest any of the pee pads so I put down a fleece blanket from IKEA down over the pee pads. He’s been doing very well with his litter training so I’m not too worried about him peeing on the fleece (I only have the pee pads down because he was chewing at the foam mats) The weather has been up and down where I live lately and I was keeping the heat on 65 degrees downstairs for him while it’s been cold out. My concern is that he will be too hot with the fleece blanket if the heat is on as well. The way our house works is we have 4 zones so I’m able to control the heat down here and have it a completely different temperature in my bedroom. Should I just turn the heat off completely downstairs since the fleece will keep him warm if he gets cold? I feel like this is a very stupid question. It’s currently 37 degrees outside but obviously the temperature inside is warmer.
