My bucks temp is at 101.4. He pretty much stayed in the 103 range for the past month, but those temps were taken after an injury. So, when I took it today (a little over a month post injury) and saw 101.4, it seemed low to me. I have googled and keep getting different answers on what is considered a normal temp. Does 101.4 seem low?

101-103 is the normal range. I wouldn't be concerned with the slight drop in temp since it's still in the normal range, unless my rabbit was also showing other signs of not feeling well.

A temperature drop that small can be caused my so many things! If you are taking his temperature rectally, it could have just been next to a fecal ball, which will reduce the temperature a few degrees. He may also have been calmer this time, lowering his body temperature. Body temperature is even somewhat dependent on time of day, so if it was a different time than before, it could also be that. I would not worry about 101.4F, like Jbun said.

Oh.ok. That's interestin g.

We are headed to the vet now for a follow up for the injury. Hopefully the eye looks better now. Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!
