sorry if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

Ok, i forgot his death aniversary...:( i feel so bad. i finally took the time to write this.
So after talking to a close friend, i decided to do a poem.

1 year on.

Binking about
faster than i could count

So full of life
flying high as a kite

Licking me like crazy
but my memories are hazey

You had a great heart
and ofcouse very smart

I remember you grinding
knowing you were dying

I saw you were on the brink
it became so hard to think

Now just over a year
I still shed my tears.

We lost our first little man almost 5 years ago--the sweetest little Chinchilla Mini-Rex and just such a happy bunny. It doesn't get any easier, but, we do celebrate all the happy memories we still have--my own favorite was how he used to run in circles in his hutch in the morning when I was fixing treats and vegetables. Celebrate the life and the memories--no matter how hard we try, we can't keep our fur babies anywhere near long enough.

That was a very nice poem. :pink iris:

Sorry for your loss. I don't think I was on ROthen.
