I just got back from a job interview. Finally! I've been applying on and off for a few months and nobody responded. Probably because I'm changing careers- chemist/science chick to desk monkey. It's necessary because of health problems though.

Anyway, I think the interview went pretty well. It's for an admin assistant for the wellness program in a health care company. It's a new position, so it's not like someone left. I always have to wonder why they left, what should I know? I interviewed with the two people I'd be working closely with and a third person that I think they just wanted there for another opinion. I think we'd work out personality-wise, and the job sounds more interesting than most similar jobs in the area because I'd be working for more than one department and doing some ground breaking work too.

So wish me luck! I should hear something from them next week, although they might do call-backs for a second interview.

:magicwand:Sending good vibes your way!

I'm also looking for a new job. I quit mine in Dec. before Christmas. I've had 1 interview but other than that I'm stuck! :waiting:

Ooooh, missed this!

I would have written you a reference letter gushing about what a superb organizer you are, a tireless worker with a knack and extensive knowledge forhealth-and-wellness related fields, and how professional, diplomatic, charitable, charmingand easy to get along with you've been. :)

*sigh* I got a "Thank you but you suck" letter.:(

Back to the job listings.

Edit: And SAS, they'd probably think I was paying you if you wrote all that!

I'm so sorry, that sucks as we know you rule!:biggrin2: Something you're meant for will come along, keep your head up;).

(As you may know, I've just lost my job due to lack of "numbers":(and a slow market, so, I'm with ya sister;).)
