I miss everyone!

I don't know if it is just me, but the forum has become so unfamilar lately! I have noticed it since the Summer that a lot of the old regulars are barely online/not online at all. So many of the usernames I don't recognise at all, not that I have a problem with new members, but I miss the good old RO! I haven't been posting as much anymore because of it. Come back people!

Hmmm, I noticed this all Summer really :S I wish the forum was the same as it used to be. Please don't think I am hating on the forum, I still love it but not feeling as connected to it as a few months ago.

Susan you bring so much negativity! I love this forum.

I know I am not on here as much as I used to be- the last six months or so I was on here for, well....it must be nearly 5 or 6 hours a day! Now unfortunately my second year at Uni has started and I am piled under with a lot of work. I think that is probably the case with lots of people too.

But I will definately try and be on here as much as I can!!

We all have our ups and downs.

I still feel empty when I lost Pebbles. But I was so busy doing other rabbit stuff, working at the Humane Society, planning Rabbit shows and supporting the Rabbit Clubs. I just can't keep up with everything.

Go read some of the blogs.

I read and answer the ones where the Bunnies and their humans mean something to me. And they know who they are. I will not get involved with other blogs anymore, honestly it's not worth it.

I understand where you are coming from Susan, because there has been one time that I have thought...wooowwwww this is the weirdest convo that really should be on a help site for young girls who have just started...becoming a woman!

But most of the time I love 'let your hare down'. Just because you don't want to hear about people's problems on this site (which you may have a point about, as it is a rabbit site after all!) doesn't make them bs or nonsense. There are some incredibly deep and not nice problems people are having to deal with in their lives, and getting advice from their friends on here is a good idea sometimes. People can be subjective and really answer the question, not be biased etc.

I am wondering whether my blog is bs now lol!? :S I'm not sure what is classed as nonsense and what is not. Most of mine...if not 95% is animal-based but I occasionally mention things going on in my life. I don't post much on it anymore though because it seems not many people go through blogs- there are never many answers, and it's usually only the few same people who comment. But I don't mind in the slightest. I'm not on here enough to keep a totally updated blog.
I doubt I mean much to you or my bunnies mean much to you because I'm not sure you've posted in my blog (no biggie at all) but does that make my blog bs to you?

Life really just gets busy. I just recently came back here after almost 5 years away, broken up by one brief haunting a few years ago. I know what you mean though. I keep looking at the users online list and haven't seen any old familiar names yet.

But I have noticed that many of the bunnies I read about in the past are binkying free now

It must be hard to come back to a place that reminds one of their loss. That might have something to do with it.

When I lost Kibbles, I don't think I was on RO because I cannot even see a post about him dying in my history. Now I think I need to do a tribute even though it was so long ago.

But I digress. I have conceded that making new friends is a good thing too.

I still think this forum is a great source of information, but I miss how it used to be too. Mind you, I was one of the first 100 members on here so I do really miss how it used to be -- it was a lot more like a family feeling. But alas, with school and life keeping me busy, I hardly have time to come on here anymore and when I do I feel so out of place because hardly anyone knows me anymore!

And it does make me sad sometimes to realise most of the bunnies that were well known when I was on here are no longer around. I don't know who has what bunnies anymore. It makes me even more sad to realise my Mocha will be 8 this year and he is one of the only original bunnies left.

I have a hard time sorting through everything on here and feeling like I have made contact with everyone! I miss being here but sometimes I feel overwhelmed when I do come over. I'm afraid I'll miss something important if I don't go through every forum and then someone will be hurt that I didn't comment.

I miss seeing you! I was doing something the other day and suddenly SPICE came to mind. I smiled when I thought of him..... but then my heart sank when I realized how long it's been since you lost him.

Just wanted to hijack for a minute to tell you all "hi" and "I miss you"!!
Things have been really rough for me. I lost Max and Basil within 6 months of eachother. My heart felt like it was ripped out of my chest. I still have 4 other bunnies, but none of them hold a candle to my relationship with my boys.
Anyway, hope you all are doing well. Miss you loads!

Losing my S'more took a lot of the wind out of my sails. I miss her so much.

Awww Jim, I am so sorry I know it's been hard for me since I lost Cloverbunny to even talk about it even now! I tear up when I think of her. However, when I see a little cottontail hopping around outside I get a smile knowing they have that freedom and maybe she can do the same now.

Thanks, Jim. Been having a strange and stressful time lately and popped over here to see what's going on.

Strange, today I was holding tony and crying cause I Just can't seem to find the answers to help everyone around me...... too much to explain but kids especially break my heart!

It's so nice to have a bunny to hold when you cry.
