Unlike many people on here - I don't work for only one company or two companies. At times I have worked for up to 15 companies as a merchandiser - some I'd do one or two hours per month...others I'd do more work for. But every time I get hired on....MORE paperwork.

Now that my Proctor & Gamble job is going away....I have been applying for and accepting jobs.

Yesterday I faxed in my "pre-hire" paperwork for one company - now today I need to get in the "real" paperwork since I've passed the driving record check, etc. etc. etc.

That is 11 pages - one of which is vehicle information - in addition I've had to get a copy of the proof of our insurance....and photocopy both sides of my driver's license.

Plus - I have 15 pages for another company that I need to get in today. They sent it to my email last week - but it went to spam apparently...they needed it a few days ago.

All I want to do is download the newest episode of Leverage on iTunes and watch it - but I've told my daughter to not let me go near it till this paperwork is all done.

So why am I sitting here typing?

Cause I HATE HATE HATE paperwork...

I work for only one company.. but my pet peeve is back to school paperwork. I have 3 kids in my home, and I have to fill out the EXACT same paper work in triplicate, and its the same stuff thats already in their system. It is literally 15-20 pages of forms, and releases, and surveys, and questionnaires, and my bra size, and what toilet paper I prefer..

The suck part is.. one of these kids is not mine.. so while I can fill out my kids stuff with accuracy from memory.. I have to go look everything of Ryan's up, which takes even longer!

So I hear ya Miss Peg..

Ah tell me about it! I've been trying to sort out all my paperwork for university. I've got forms and letters and links and passwords and things to apply for, things to pay for, things to photocopy and send in, online enrolment, sorting out my accommodation payments.... I spent 30 minutes searching for a letter they hadn't even sent me yet. All this on top of trying to finish off my summer project (I leave in a week), packing up my entire life, trying to find a new job and trying to actually spend some time with my friends because I won't see them until Christmas! I feel like I want to explode!

Wow Fran - your situation is worse than mine.

I've got one set of forms done - one set to go today and then a meeting on Monday with my new manager with a third company to do a set for them.

I think I'm going to like this new manager a lot....he got my paperwork in the mail yesterday and he didn't get home till late last night - and when he realized they were going to send me to Uvalde to do my drug test (70+ miles one way) - he said "thats not fair to have her drive 1 1/2 hours one way without compensation..".

So he's getting them to set up the drug test here in town (the first company to ever do that for me)...and he's going to wait and come down early next week for us to get together.

Yep....I do think I'm going to like him a lot.

But it will mean one more set of paperwork to fill out..
